• Login credentials (passwords are stored as encrypted hashes — we never store plain text passwords)

• Data you enter into the platform (datasets, documents, audit records)
• Usage data such as login times and actions taken within the platform

• To provide and maintain the truenumb service
• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To send account-related emails (invitations, password resets)
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Payment data

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure within the United Kingdom. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Access to data is controlled by role-based permissions within the platform.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We only share your data with third parties where necessary to operate the service:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Microsoft Azure — cloud hosting and data storage

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
